How freehold actually works in Sharjah
Designated zones only, since 2022. If the masterplan is not on the list, you do not own it.
Sharjah Resolution No. 30 of 2022 opened freehold in designated developments to all nationalities. Aljada, Masaar, Maryam Island, Tilal City and a defined set of others. This is not city-wide Dubai 2002.
Title registers with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department. We do not take a booking form in a zone we cannot complete. If a seller quotes “freehold” on an older Al Khan walk-up, ask for the designation — then ask us.
Foreign buyers from 100+ nationalities are already buying in 2025–26. That is demand. It is not a reason to skip the title check.
